How do I upload photos?
Having a picture on your profile will get a lot more response, even if the display picture is not of you. Many people filter search results to show only those with photos, don't be left off the list!
If you are concerned about discretion simply upload a picture of something else first, then upload your own photo. You can add a password on the 'Photos' page so that only those who you give your password to can access your photo.
You need to have a jpg or gif picture of yourself on your hard disk somewhere.
If you have a scanner, scan a photo of yourself and it will create such a file. Log in to the site with your user id and password. Click on "Photos". Click on the Browse button until you find the file/directory on your hard disk containing your photo. Press the Continue button and you should see the photo uploaded. That's it.
Some scanners create huge picture files and if the file is too large, the upload may fail, but it will explain that the file is too large.
